 You have many alternatives for making financial contributions.  Below please find a listing of these options.

Annual Personal Pledge/Donation: By contacting the United Way of Otero County you can send in your annual donation.  With the ease of an annual pledge, you can notify of the amount you wish to pledge, and we will send reminder notices for payment as you request: monthly, quarterly, etc.

• WORKPLACE CAMPAIGN

Workplace Giving Campaign: Many local companies and businesses offer workplace giving campaigns, allowing employees to contribute through the ease of payroll deduction.

Running a workplace campaign is a great way to increase employee morale, build teamwork, enhance your public image and prove your commitment to bettering our community.  To learn more about running a workplace campaign at your place of business, contact the United Way of Otero County office. 

• PLANNED GIVING

A planned gift may include gifts of stock, bonds, mutual funds or real estate given to United Way of Otero County either as an outright gift or a gift in a bequest, trust or gift annuity.  Planned gifts can sometimes realize outstanding tax benefits for the contributor over a lump-sum cash gift.  However, each planned gift should be given particular consideration by you and your personal financial advisors to make certain that is accomplishes your financial and estate planning goals. 

A planned gift can accomplish the following:

·        Close the gap between documented community needs and available funding

·        Create new programs that require funding not always available from the annual campaign

·        Allow United Way to act instead of reacting to challenging health and social pressures.
